How to make a WiFi QR code for guests

Typing a long WiFi password on a phone is slow and error-prone. A WiFi QR code lets guests join with one scan.

Steps

Open the WiFi QR code generator, enter your network name (SSID), password and security type, pick a theme, and download the code. Print it and place it near your guests, for example on a frame at reception.

Tips

Use a guest network instead of your main one, so visitors never see your private devices. If you change the password, print a new code. Test the code on both an Android phone and an iPhone.
